Grants Intro

Grants are issued by foundations, corporations, and government agencies to support specific projects. Sponsoring institutions typically turn around applications within six months of submission.

Notifying the G&F team in advance of upcoming grant proposals—ideally at least two months before the deadline—allows us to begin working on the narrative, budget, and other required materials and ensures we are able to handle submissions from multiple faculty members that are due on the same day.

Please note that all grant proposals are due to the Grants & Fellowships team at least two weeks before the funding organization's deadline. If this deadline is not met, you may be unable to submit your grant application.

If you are interested in applying for a grant—whether or not you have already identified a funding source—please contact Courtney Guerra (773-834-5827) to discuss your options.

For questions about awarded grants, please contact Nadine Clark (773-834-4675).
