Huntington Library Short-Term Fellowships & Travel Grants	One- to five-month residential fellowships at the Huntington & Clark libraries in California; travel grants to Great Britain	November 15, 2013 Applications must include three letters of reference not included in job dossier.
Career Enhancement Fellowships for Junior Faculty	$30k stipend & $1,500 in research/travel/publication funds for third-year faculty members affiliated with underrepresented groups	November 15, 2013 Limited to third-year assistant professors; candidates must have some affiliation with underrepresented groups. American Association of University Women Fellowships	Funds in support of research leave for women who are junior scholars at American universities	November 15, 2013 PROJECTED DEADLINE; will be updated when new date is posted. Only women are eligible to apply.
Wenner-Gren Foundation Hunt Postdoctoral Fellowships	Fellowship funding for early-stage scholars to support writing-up of research that relates to anthropolgy	November 1, 2013 Applications are accepted biannually; there is another deadline in May 2014. Must submit electronic and hard copies.
The Fellowship--John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation	Prestigious research award; can only be received once in a scholar's career. They are flexible if you need to defer.	September 19, 2013 NOTE UPDATED DEADLINE. See above link for application details.
NEH Fellowships for Advanced Social Science Research on Japan	Funding to support continuous full-time work on a given project within program parameters: $4,200/month for a period of six to twelve months.	May 1, 2013
Oscar Bronner Traveling Fellowship	Three- to six-month residential fellowship (max $30k) at American School of Classical Studies in Athens; open only to former AAR fellows	January 15, 2013 Applications must be postmarked by deadline. Only former fellows of the American Academy in Rome may apply.
